when I run the TO on (new) batteries the batterie-indicator
already after a few minutes shows they are half empty.

after about between half an hour to an hour it only shows just one
bar left in the batterie-indicator.

used several brands like duracel and energizer,
every time the same results.

this happens without any external equipment connected.....

anyone with similar problems???

not really ever happened to me though I seldom use batteries anyway...

are the batteries new? do you have them in even when the TO is connected to mains power? it is possible that they are being drained if they are in and you are using the mains power.

if your battery leads have whitish-greenish deposits (this happens when you leave batteries in a device even when you don't use it) on them that can cause a small short circuit that will drain the batteries even while the device is off. you can clean the leads with a pencil eraser.

other than that, I don't know what to tell you... if it is a serious enough problem, you might want to get it fixed.

thanks for the reply,
yes new batteries,
tried all brands,

even when I have put new ones in,
without the adapter connected,
after just a few seconds the indicator shows they are half empty.

maybe there's something wrong with the indicator?

There was a product recall a while ago specifically regarding batteries for the Tenori;

http://tenori-on.yamaha-europe.com/uk/important/

You might want to check it out...just in case...

Contacted numerous yamaha mailadresses and filled in forms
with my question about my problem with the tenori-on.

Never got 1 answer,

but since then they do use my emailadres to send all kinds of ads and spam!

Don't wanna be a bittered nay-sayer, and i'm still happy with the equipment itself
still happy with the tenori on
but the service is like a slap in the face
